I'm doing it (if we get the pool in time) if not I will be at least laboring in our bath/shower. I am so excited about a natural home birth. I'm anxious to have it start already. I already feel empowered by taking the first steps toward all this.

I personally wouldn't want a young child in the room, you'll be in so much pain, they won't understand what is going on, it will upset them so much to see mummy in pain, and you'll be too preoccupied to be able to deal with it!

Another thing aswell, god forbid nothing happens, but if anything went wrong, or there were any scares your DD would see it all.

I had a water birth, it was AMAZING. Wouldn't have it any other way next time, (unless I have to obvously). xxxxx
