| Im just wondering, does anyone know if Autism runs in families? For instance, is it a genetic gene? My brother (19) , has suffered from severe Autism from he was a baby, and Davids two nephews, both suffer from severe Autism aswell. So i know, if it runs in families, bubs would have a higher risk at having it. Not that it would annoy or bother me in anyway, ive had too deal with Autism from i was 2 years old, so i knowexactly how too cope with it etc... I just wanted too know a bit more into the detail off family background history, if it ran in families. I know that no-one else in our family suffers from Autism only my brother, so it may not run in families. And i have asked my mum, and told her why i would like too know..For the sake of bubs, but she just keepsreplying "dont you worry yourself" ..not giving me a proper answer. And ive been unable to find any information online. I also wanted too know if Epilpsy ran in families, because both me and my brother suffer from that, and Davids sister suffers from it aswell, and so does my Uncle. And i asked my epilpsy midwife and epilpsy consultant, but they both said that no epilpsy doesnt run in families.Autism is a super-power, not an illness. And Autistic kids and people, only deserve the very best in this world. A lot of people dont understand what living with Autism is like, or what living with someone who suffers Autism is like. Believe me it is hard..but you soon learn to deal with it.And as much as my brother annoys me at times, and the amount of times we fight and argue, just like siblings do..He will always be a huge influence in my life, and my baby's life, and i love him too bits. xxx My Brother. |
