me and my OH decided not to find out the sex at the 20 week scan, we just thought it would make the wait for our little baby that bit more exciting as not only were we going to meet our baby but we'd find out if i was carrying a prince or princess for the last 9 months. i loved everyone taking guesses on whether it was a girl or boy, we were 100% convinced i was having a boy but when our baby was born my OH just said 'huh? its a girl!' big shock but was over the moon to have our own little princess i found that even though we didnt know the sex we were still very organised, we were able to get vests and sleepsuits in white/yellow/green, got a neutral moses basket and a few unisex outfits, we didnt get a rocker/swing til after she was born so that was pink, her pram was black so was suitable for either girl or boy. when i packed babies hospital bag i packed 1 pink hat and 1 blue hat so whatever the sex was i had a hat for him/her to use to come home in. i definately wouldnt find out the sex of my next child either as i found it so special finding out at the birth with my first that i want to experience that feeling again xx

I would say that really it is personal choice, i think its good to know if your going to buy things are related to a girl or a boy, but at the same time i think its nice not to know as its a suprise hehe. I personally would not want to know untill i went into laubour lol

I found out with my daughter.
But next time i plan not too.
I like the idea of not knowing, & for it to be a surprise.
