2O.O1.12

I saw the house yesterday. It was nice, the landlord still had alot of work to do on it.. all the room's were being painted, the bathroom was being totally re-done and all the window were being replaced. I decided not to get it, for a few reasons. It's too over looked, there is a block of flats on every side of the house & they can see straight into the garden & windows. The stairs were a bit too steep for Eva & there were steps along the alley before the house which were quite high as well.

I did book viewings for the two £575 houses for tuesday & I already like one of them. It has everything i was looking for, it's close to a main supermarking and within walking distance to the local school & her current playschool. It's also just be completely re-done. New everything, carpets, kitchen, bathroom & every room has been re-painted. So finger's crossed it goes well.
-----

EDIT :
I ended up finded 3 more houses today & after calling up the estate agents got viewings for 2.
House 1 & 2
Same area, same layout and size wise the same.
&same price ;; £575
Fitted kitchen - with Fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, oven & hob.
Bathroom with shower.
The only difference was, house 2 has a dishwasher, slightly smaller garden & a few damaged area's (door, ceiling, light switch)
House 3
£575pcm,
3 bedrooms.
(booking a viewing for tuesday afternoon)
Not sure on the details yet as the website didn't say much.

Fell in love with the first house, it was just so nice. Black slate floors and thick cream carpets - it was really nice.
Going to see the other houses, but i've made it clear i really loveeee that one. Hopfully it will be mine on tuesday if these other's don't float my boat :)

23.O1.12

I've just read through this and realised how completely boring it is "house's house's house's" Opppppsss.

I spent my weekend either at work or cooking. Saturday I stupidly agreed to covering 3 wards (MIU, PCU & Day treatment) . I don't mind doing them but clearly i was rushing around getting everything thing done and didn't even have a break like everyone else. & my supervisor, she was working hard as well wasn't she ... ermmm NOOOOOOOOO!! sat up in the office when i arrived at 8am and then had the balls to come to one of the wards i was covering and asking me if i could "Do the whole ward" in "15 mins" because clearly she had to go on there after and wanted to do as little as possible.
I would just like to point out, to do a full clean of a ward takes at least 1 - 1 1/2 hours to do!! as if i can do all of it in 15 mins, then head to my own wards and do it all over again.. pfftttt.. i think not some how.
(RANT)

I am so excited about tomorrow. Although it's going to megga busy.
I'll be up at 7am to get everything ready for Eva's morning at playgroup, make her breakfast, then get her washed a dressed. Take her up to playschool, explain to them i won't be picking her up, then go pick up Eva's nanny drop her off in town, go see two houses then off to the second veiwing of the house i love. back into town to pick up eva and her nanny. Drop nanny off at home then go back to my house..
Hopefully though by tomorrow i shall have a house for me and Eva - dead excited about it.

NOTE TO SELF : remember note pad, pen and tape measure.

O4.O2.12

Got the keys to our house on Friday

We filled out all the contracts etc, then went straight to the house.. read the meter's and called up all the suppliers. So we had our Gas, electric, water & council tax sorted. We then spent the rest of the day going around the house & checking everything! before making a plan of how everything was going to go in the house.

Today, we went on the first house shop, got all the basics for the kitchen & bathroom - and a few bits for the master bedroom. I was going to the house tonight to clean it, but it started to snow and i didn't fancy walking back if it got too bad so i've decided to do that tomorrow. The washing machine is being plumbing in to tomorrow & the dining table set up.
We've got loads to do, but we plan to be fully moved in by the 13th.

Need to ring up Sky & get the internet, TV & phone sorted out.
Hopfully some time next week.

O8.O3.12

House
It took us all of 24 hours to fully move in, & tbh it wasn't nearly as stressful as i thought it was going to be. Infact the only person who got stressed was OH & all because the curtains in the lounge were 2 inches too long, he got all in a flap & in the end we had to go some more. His dad made me giggle when he said "Anyone would think your gay, worrying about the length of the curtains while your misses builds a table. It should be the other way around". We've had no problems settling Eva in. She slept all night the first night & had her self into her own little routine by the next day. She loves being able to go & play in her room by herself.

Pets
Eva's two Zebra finches (Rosie & Jim) are now living with us. Their very sweet, the male sleeps with his wing over the female! They got out on Eva's birthday, she'd been playing with their food & hadnt clicked the little door in place so when i open the front door later after Eva's birthday trip i was greeted by a bird flying around the lounge! I had to search the house for the other & found him in the bathroom having a bath in the sink!!
We've decided to get Eva a rabbit in the summer. The landlord has already agreed to it, so yay! As long as it's not a cat or dog he doesn't mind.

Internet
Well, I got the internet set up last night took 2 mins. It works fine, only problem is it won't upload photos unless i keep clicking on the upload photo button & then it only does one at a time!! & i cannot get on to MnB. I can log in, see the page but it comes up blank with posts. I'm going to download Firefox later anyway, as i cannot stand using internet explorer. It doesn't let me upload photos from this computer (I'm at my mums) so i'm guessing it's just a problem with the type of page i'm using.

& the rest
I had a trip to MIU (Minor Injury Unit) last night. I've been in pain with my foot for about a week but not really known what was wrong, it slowly got worse, swelled up & i couldn't walk. Turns out I've overstreched the tendons in my foot & i'm on four pain killers now just so i can walk! They told me the only way for it to heal is to "rest it" but with a 3 year old to run around after & working 6 days a week. I doubt that will be likely!
I had a nice suprise in the mail yesterday. Sky sent me £50 M&S voucher as a welcome gift. So i'll been getting loads of food from there this week, saves me some money.
